Two books. One author. Felt like they’d been written by two different ones. Really enjoyed the first book (Iris). Didn’t enjoy the second (Iris and Friends) anywhere near as much. Found it disjointed, jumping here and there. But, overall, an interesting read and a true /5.   The good news is that there are two more books on the shelves called IRIS & LILY, Parts 2 and 3. This was an excellent book about 2 sisters growing up in a family of 12 children. These two sisters went from being wrapped up with each other at night in bed, to young adult lives that put them physically and even emotionally much more separated/5().   This is definitely a book for a beginner. If you want some more detailed information, there are much better books such as the older but more comprehensive World of Irises. Pictures are very variable but many have annoying shadows and most could be improved by cropping. Some are shot are odd angles, giving sort of distorted views of the iris/5(37).
